Set during the 90's dot-com bubble, BUSCO-TU AMOR tells the story of person searching for advice on relationships and romance using a newly launched text-only search engine, BUSCO-TU: Booming Utility Searching on Computers Online for Terminal Users.
The story is told through the person's search inputs and BUSCO-TU's responses though issues like bandwidth constraints and outside competition, limit how much BUSCO-TU can help out each time it's booted up. BUSCO-TU AMOR was inspired by an article I read many years ago positing that you can tell more about what’s happening in a person’s life by their Venmo and search history than by their facebook or instagram.
