NEW INC Create & Advocate

During my internship at NEW INC, I worked on the Create and Advocate weekend helping plan, design and also participating in the event. The plan of Create and Advocate was to engage NEW INC’s community of creative practitioners and the public in a 48hr, collaborative marathon-style design thinking incubator in support of local community organizations working on urgent civic issues.
The goal is to provide participating organizations with pro bono creative solutions to help address current organizational challenges. During the event, I worked with the Center for Constitutional Rights to revamp their visuals when talking with MASA communities about post 9/11 abuses of their rights.
