BLACK LIVES MATTER. BLACK WOMEN & TRANS LIVES MATTER. LAS VIDAS NEGRAS IMPORTAN.
If the work hasn't begun, it should begin now. The practice of decolonizing one's mindset, dismantling white supremacist office spaces, and building an antiracist future is a lifelong journey. We who choose to be non-Black conspirators must use our platforms to sound off the bells, amplify Black voices and create opportunities for Black perspectives. Thank you for being here. If you appreciate my work and want to hire me for an opportunity, think first of giving it to a Black creative.
If your network does not have Black creatives, please reflect on why that is and how you can change it. There is the Blacks Who Design & Rememory Directory for Black Female & Non-Binary Creatives Directories. You should also consider posting your job to Revision Path's Jobs Board. With the payment for posting on the job board, you'd be supporting an amazing organization committed to showcasing Black voices as well as presenting your opportunity to a much wider and diverse talent pool. If you are non-Black, there is no excuse.
