Animator, Academy for Scholarship and Entrepreneurship, Bronx, NY

Chanel Lebron was born and raised in the Bronx where she attended the Academy for Scholarship and Entrepreneurship. She works primarily with traditional mediums such as ink and alcohol based markers on paper, as well as digital media. Her work focuses on topics such as identity and mental health. Her future endeavors include finishing her graphic novel and majoring in either Illustration or Animation at FIT, MICA, Pratt or Parsons. Chanel’s advice for the upcoming seniors is “Dont trip, chicken strip.”
