Christina Feng

Architect, Susan E. Wagner High School, Staten Island, NY

Christina Feng is a first-generation Chinese-American artist born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, New York. She attended Susan E. Wagner High School where she danced in the annual International Festival that celebrates cultures from around the world. Feng mainly works on detailed renditions of customized architectural models, realistic paintings, and observational drawings pulled from traversing along the streets of the city. Rather than making conceptual work, Feng loves to focus on details to provide a sensory experience of her art. Furthermore, New York City’s diversity has contributed to Feng’s interest in imbuing her projects with peoples’ stories and backgrounds. Feng intends to pursue a career in architecture to produce multicultural structures that motivate the public to explore other cultures.
