My mom has always worn jewelry. She’s had jewelry all the way back since she was very young. She would show and give it to me, always with a story attached. Such as a Mickey Mouse ring that was bought in Disneyland and belonged to her younger sister or a bracelet that she wore as a child, at her older sister’s wedding. Knowing that my mother always has stories, likes fashion and art and has given me so much, I wanted to make something about my mother in gratitude for everything she was given me.
