The two floor home with different colors inside represents the house that I grew up in Mexico. I painted it different colors because each color represents something special, such as love, pain, happiness, and loneliness. This is the house where my grandmother raised and gave me love and affection. The second house is where I live now. It is composed of different colored legos; the colors represent strength because now I am with my parents and siblings. I’ve connected the two houses by using two threads, which means that my families are not only united by blood ties but through all the emotions we share with one another despite the distance.
